Job Description:
As a Principal Procurement Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert procurement advice and support to clients in the public and private sectors. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs, develop procurement strategies, manage procurement processes, and deliver cost savings.
Responsibilities:
- Lead complex procurement projects across a range of sectors
- Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements
- Develop procurement strategies and deliver procurement plans
- Provide expert procurement advice and support to clients
- Identify and deliver cost savings opportunities for clients
- Manage procurement processes and negotiations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Coach and mentor junior consultants
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in procurement consulting or procurement leadership roles
- Proven track record of delivering complex procurement projects and cost savings
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience of working with clients in both public and private sectors
