This multi-billion pound revenue organization is seeking a professional services procurement and business process outsourcing expert to join their team within this newly created senior level position. You will be working for an industry-leading insurance organization within a best-in-class procurement team, coupled with its collaborative culture.

Within this exciting procurement opportunity you will essentially be the right-hand person to the procurement director whereby you will be at the forefront of decision-making and continuously liaising with high-profile C-Suite stakeholders.

VP of Indirect Professional Services Procurement responsibilities…

• Manage all outsourced services and third party providers, with spend of between £50million - £100million, across the Professional Services & HR procurement categories
• Own and lead procurement strategy creation and implementation for indirect Professional Services & HR outsourced categories on a global scale, including hitting the ground running on high-profile negotiations
• Develop and deliver appropriate governance frameworks to maintain adherence to necessary regulatory governance whilst mitigating relevant risks
• Maintain and utilise relationships with key stakeholders across all business critical projects for the professional services category through accessing innovations and challenging where necessary

VP of Indirect Professional Services Procurement requirements…

• Strong expertise surrounding business process outsourcing within the Professional Services & HR procurement space
• Excellent skills surrounding stakeholder management, procurement strategy creation and negotiation
• Desire to drive change and continuous improvement within an established procurement function
• Prior experience working within the insurance industry would be beneficial
