The Crown Prosecution Service are delighted to advertise the role of Senior Commercial Assistant to work within their Commercial team in the Finance Directorate.
This is an exciting time to join the CPS Commercial team, which is expanding and developing to deliver a wide-ranging, transformative commercial strategy. The Commercial team play a vital role, working with global suppliers to deliver world-leading procurement and contract management services whilst ensuring excellent value for money for the organisation.
As Senior Commercial Assistant you will provide administrative, procurement and contract management support to suppliers, stakeholders and peers. You will analyse Commercial contracts and review expenditure, identifying opportunities for improvement to ensure that the priorities of the department are supported. Deputising for the Commercial Contract Manager, you will manage a diverse range of relationships to ensure a culture of continuous improvement.
We are looking for someone with previous administrative experience providing business support to customers, ideally within a commercial environment. You will be passionate about procurement and keen to develop your skills within a category structure. As Senior Commercial Assistant you will line manage one or more people within your area, supporting their professional development. Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain a diverse range of relationships are vital for this role.
