Strategic Procurement Improvement Manager Opportunity:

A phenomenal opportunity for the right person to come in and stamp their mark on the end to end procurement process functionality and performance within a leading, speciality insurance company. The role has been created for someone who loves the process of continuously improving the procurement lifecycle and offers an incredibly exciting and unique role within procurement to have a huge impact on process and procedure from the word go.

Strategic Procurement Improvement Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead the procurement strategy and vision for supplier engagement.
  • Implement these strategies and manage their integration.
  • Drive procurement innovation and contribute to strategic change projects.
  • Environmental procurement focus, establishing key relationships with internal/ external stakeholders.
  • Deliver spend, savings and contract analysis, continually evaluating commercial terms, trends and performance.

Strategic Procurement Improvement Manager Experience:

  • Track record in managing stakeholders at all levels.
  • History of best in class procurement process and contracting.
  • Comfortable with full lifecycle of supplier management from procurement into operational governance and leadership.
  • Sector background in insurance or finance desirable.
