This client is a reputable market leader and a highly competitive, positive disruptor within the retail industry. This Fortune 500 firm are seeking Indirect Procurement Professionals, IT Category Manager's or IT Senior Buyer's who are striving to seize a global role and positively impact an iconic firm.

This global giant based in Hertfordshire are offering a Salary of £70 - £85k with a lucrative package which includes Bonus, Stock Options & Car Allowance. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

This client is looking for an IT Category Manager possessing leadership qualities and the ability to be forward-thinking, organised and agile when finding solutions and working under pressure in an everchanging global environment.

Category Management

  • Executing the Global Category plan via the Strategic Sourcing methodology.
  • Developing and evolving product or service requirements relating to the IT Procurement such as Network, Telecoms, Hardware, Software, Technology.
  • Maximising IT Procurement opportunities to leverage larger pools of sourcing to increase savings.
  • Prepare and execute a regional negotiation plan relating to the IT Procurement Category.
  • Identify, develop and incorporate innovative products and services through IT Procurement.
  • Raise market innovation for the IT Category and brings applicable ideas to the business for testing, cost modelling and performance measurement.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to negotiate with both suppliers and senior stakeholders.
  • Vendor Management - Managing IT Procurement and the commercial element of supplier relationships.
  • Understanding trade-offs of risk, quality, and cost, and be able to manage each area through supplier management, contracting, and negotiations.
  • Demonstratable IT, Technology and Indirect Procurement experience and the ability to showcase positive impacts within relevant procurement functions.
