Job description
As a Commercial Contract Manager, you will have an opportunity to utilise your commercial experience to develop and shape the Commercial function for the VCA.
Procurement management will be a key focus of the role and with your knowledge and expertise of the industry, you will:
- Challenge purchasing requirements effectively, ensuring competitive tenders are received.
- Ensure all purchasing is undertaken in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations.
- Ensure procurement records are maintained.
- Provide professional procurement advice and guidance to the agency, on all contractual issues.
- Manage supplier and market relationships.
Other key responsibilities will include:
- Management of the commercial and contractual relationship for a defined portfolio of contracts.
- Management of reputational and regulatory risk in relation to contract delivery.
- Ensuring contract compliancy.
