Industry: Food/FMCG - International Confectionery Company

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 + Benefits

City: London (Hybrid)

The International Confectionery Company are well established and global leaders. Their global presence is seen in every continent, they have an advanced procurement function, they're looking for a determined and ambitious Junior BUYER who has great passion for Food/FMCG, thrives working independently and equally as an effective contribution in team collaborations. The role:

• Support Senior Buyer and Procurement Manager in developing and implementing innovative procurement strategies
• Manage and track a risk database to identify suppliers who are experiencing challenges
• Cultivate and manage relationships with new and existing internal senior stakeholders and suppliers
• Creating contracts with suppliers and negotiating the best terms for the business whilst ensuring all suppliers are compliant and risks are mitigated
• Support on SAP duties - this will entail adding suppliers to an existing framework, raising POs, managing complaints.
• Coordinate, attend, and take minutes of events with suppliers to support with the end-to-end process.

To be considered for the Junior Procurement Buyer role, see the following:

• Previous experience in a procurement function
• Experience in liaising with senior stakeholders, virtually and face-to-face.
• Strong academic record is desirable but not essential.
• Great time management skills with meeting deadlines preparing reports and document.
