The firm are on the look for an experienced Technology Sourcing Manager to join the firm on an interim basis! Innovation is key for the firm and the procurement team has led the innovation by initiating projects to explore how to optimise costs in processes. One program involved using technology and process improvement to enhance the efficiency and quality of legal services and has resulted in the implementation of several innovative solutions.

What you will do as an Interim Technology Sourcing Manager:

• Lead complex, strategic high value sourcing projects and contract negotiations for Technology service and product categories.
• Contract and commercial negotiations, including but not limited to license agreements, MSAs, Service Agreements, EULAs etc
• Responsible for managing due diligence and supplier audits, and working with the Data Privacy, Information Security, Legal and Finance teams to ensure effective supplier risk management
• Responsible for the day-to-day management of two Sourcing Managers.
• Provision of category reporting, project status reporting, and resource capacity management
• Advising and partnering with Technology stakeholders to ensure adherence to the Sourcing policy and processes
• Identify and support improvement initiatives in Sourcing processes, policy, guidance and reporting

Requirements for an Interim Technology Sourcing Manager:

• Negotiation of contracts and commercials
• Management of suppliers via established governance process.
• Supporting strategic projects in vendor selection exercises (RFP; evaluation; scoring; recommendation; contracting etc).
• 5+ years experience in a professional services environment (legal/insurance preferred)
