Procurement Specialist - Progress-Driven FinTech Company - Leeds - £30,000 - £40,000 + Bonus

As an Indirect Procurement Specialist, you will be encouraged to contribute towards the development of Indirect Procurement processes you will later take ownership of. As the Procurement team expand, so do the functions of the business. They are now seeking an ambitious and proactive Indirect Procurement Specialist to lead on a variety of project processes ranging from contract renewals to managing new supplier onboarding.

Your role as an Procurement Specialist may vary but will include (but not be limited to):

  • Processing supplier requests through to execution and ensuring they are compliant with NDA procedures.
  • Utilising your analytical skills to ensure policy compliant contract governance on Transactional Procurement contracts.
  • Taking ownership of the company's intranet guide and Procurement procedure.
  • Developing and employing your expertise to help manage Procurement projects including, but not limited to, IT, professional services, and Technology.

An ideal Procurement Specialist will possess the following experience and skills:

  • Proven experience in working independently to manage solicitation and managing the contract award process.
  • Excellent command of MS Office Suite (incl. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills when presenting information.
  • Brilliant ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with the Procurement team and stakeholders of all levels.
