SENIOR PROCUREMENT MANANGER (FLEET, TRANSPORT & OUTSOURCED LOGISTICS)

SALARY: £60-70k + 30% BONUS + £6.5k CAR ALLOWANCE

LOCATION: LEEDS (HYBRID 1 -2 DAYS A WEEK IN OFFICE)

The role of Senior Procurement Manager, specializing in Fleet, Transport, and Logistics, entails various responsibilities:

  • Managing a procurement lifecycle exceeding £300 million for external fleet and transport expenditure.
  • Establishing independent relationships with key suppliers and driving continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
  • Collaborating closely with department heads and directors to establish oneself as a trusted advisor.
  • Overseeing and developing a team of two senior buyers, while supporting their professional growth.

The desired qualifications for this position include:

  • Prior experience in fleet and/or logistics procurement.
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to work within budgetary constraints and overall cash flow requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial accounting principles related to cash flow, savings recognition, and operating expenses/capital expenses.
  • Preferred experience in managing small teams.
