There is a pay award pending which is currently being negotiated with the Trades Unions. It’s proposed as part of the offer that our pay ranges will be adjusted with salary minima’s being uplifted by between 4.5% and 8.6% depending on grade. Details will be confirmed once the pay award is agreed.

As a Category Manager, you’ll continually develop a chain of quality-assured suppliers to tender for our crucial projects.

Support in the creation of category strategy with impact across continents

With your eye for detail and good experience in procurement, you’ll support in the creation and implementation of sourcing plans. Already familiar with procurement policies, processes and standards – and commercially minded – you’ll confidently look after all aspects of the tendering process, from specification to evaluation and award. You’ll have a knack for translating technical information into something that’s jargon-free and easy to understand. Plus, as you’re well-versed in risk management, you’ll easily spot and address current or potential risks associated with procurement activities.

Provide advice that will influence global projects

With your invaluable knowledge and insight, you’ll provide specialist procurement advice to everyone from project managers to designers. As a trusted pair of hands, you’ll liaise with and appoint high-quality suppliers – ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and effectively. You’ll also develop our existing supply chain, helping our services go from strength to strength. In everything you do, you’ll be easy to work with, reliable, responsive, and great at building relationships.
