In a landmark case, the High Court ruled that the NDA ‘fudged’ its tender process for a $7bn nuclear clean up contract.

In July 2016, judgment was handed down by the High Court in the case of Energy Solutions (ES) v the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA). The result was that ES was entitled to damages as a result of errors made by the NDA in the evaluation process.
