Did Kellogg’s really invent Corn Flakes to heal the morally corrupt?
Yes and no. The brothers, William and John Kellogg, who invented the iconic cereal in 1894 were both vegetarian Seventh Day Adventists, and John certainly believed sexual arousal led to “moral corruption” and that the best cure for a lack of moral fibre was more fibre in the diet.
