Goat meat is popping up on food programmes and restaurant menus – and will soon be on sale at a supermarket near you.

The average human carnivore in the UK eats around 7,000 animals in their lifetime, including 11 cows, 27 pigs and 2,400 chickens. Yes, we Brits love our meat. And now there’s a new option on the menu – goat meat.
