Workers in New Zealand are suffering wide-ranging exploitation including working 80 to 90 hour weeks for NZ$500, a new study has revealed.
A report by Christina Stringer from the University of Auckland Business School also found many workers were only being paid for half the hours they worked, or workers were paying their own wages in “cash-for-residency” scheme.
