General Electric (GE) has won the tender for a project to supply and install 123 wind turbines for what will be Australia’s largest wind farm.
Coopers Gap Wind Farm project in Queensland is set to produce around 1.5m megawatts (MW) of renewable energy annually—enough to power the equivalent of more than 260,000 average Australian homes and reduce CO2 emissions by 1.2m tonnes each year.
