Authorities in Mumbai have shut down a manufacturing company for dumping untreated industrial waste and dyes into a local river, which were turning stray dogs blue.
Local activists Navi Mumbai Animal Protection Cell (NMAPC) said they filed a complaint with the pollution control board after residents first spotted the dogs earlier in August, sparking an investigation.
