Shift away from oil will drive logistics

Transportation and logistics (T&L) investment is the cornerstone to the future growth of the MENA region as countries diversify their economies away from hydrocarbon dependence, according to a study.

A report by UAE asset management firm Al Masah Capital has singled out Dubai as the region’s leader in terms of T&L due to its well-established and modern facilities, access to 34 free trade zones, non-existent corporation tax, unlimited repatriation of profits and one of the largest marine terminals in the world.
