Tomato prices have soared across Australia due to a national supply shortage.
In March Australians were warned by the Queensland Farmers Federation to expect tomato prices to rise after Cyclone Debbie hit the “food bowl of the North”, which provides about 95% of Australia’s winter supply of tomatoes and capsicums.
