Saab has launched an institute to boost skills in the Australian defence supply chain and give more opportunities to SMEs.
The Saab Australia-UniSA Defence Technologies Institute, a joint venture between Saab Australia and the University of South Australia, is being established to prevent a shortfall in the number of skilled engineers expected as the government increases defence spending. The institute will give students real-life experience of working on projects.
