Refiners across Asia have increased their output to send fuel to the US after Hurricane Harvey forced seven of the nation’s refineries to shut down.
The storm, which struck Texas last week as a hurricane and moved on to Louisiana, caused historic floods and forced the closure of about a quarter of US refining capacity, equal to about 4.5m barrels per day in output.
