Plans to build one of the world’s biggest prawn farm moved a step closer to realisation after the signing of a land use deal.
Project Sea Dragon, set to cost $2bn and be built on the border between Western Australia and the Northern Territory, could produce 100,000 tons of black tiger prawns for export every year, with the first batch expected to reach market in 2020.
