The UK has signed a deal to continue trading with six southern African countries after it exits the European Union, during a three-day tour of the continent by prime minister Theresa May.
Speaking in Cape Town earlier this week, May confirmed that Britain would replicate a deal the EU currently has with South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, Swaziland and Mozambique, the first five of which make up the Southern African Customs Union.
