Philippines issues fake procurement authority alert

The government of the Philippines has issued a warning against a scam involving a fake central procurement authority.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) said an organisation calling itself the Philippines Project Award Commission (PPAC) is attempting to defraud the public by a misrepresenting itself as the central procurement agency of the government.
