Saudi energy city deal will 'indigenise' supply chains

A deal to provide services to energy companies in Saudi Arabia will be a “key enabler” for the promotion of local content.

National Energy Services Resources (NESR) has signed a deal with Saudi Aramco that will see it build an operating facility in King Salman Energy Park (SPARK). The development supports Saudi Aramco's In-Kingdom Total Value Add programme, which has a “mission to raise local content to 70% by 2021”.
