The Competition Commission of Singapore (CCS) has fined four electronics manufacturers S$19.5m for price fixing and other cartel activities, the biggest anti-competition penalty ever imposed by the city state.
An investigation was launched after the CCS received an application for immunity under its leniency programme from Panasonic in exchange for providing information about firms colluding to price-fix electrical components.
