Peugeot pulling out of Iran to avoid sanctions

Carmaker PSA Group has begun pulling out of its operations in Iran to avoid falling foul of US sanctions.

The firm behind Peugeot and Citroën was among the first firms to re-enter the country after sanctions were lifted in 2016 when the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) nuclear deal was struck.
