Fast-growing freight demand across Australia will be helped by joined-up transport and infrastructure.
The Australian government has approved its strategy for national freight and supply chains, integrating the country’s different modes of transport for the first time.
Michael McCormack, deputy prime minister and minister for infrastructure, transport and regional development, said the strategy included pledges of smarter and targeted infrastructure investment.
