Drones have been used to map agricultural land in the northern emirates as part of a project to assess the impact of climate change and to expand sustainable farming in the region.
The UAE’s Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) mapped 550 sq km of agricultural land across Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Umm Al Quwain during the first phase of the project.
