A former senior executive at engineering firm Petrofac has pleaded guilty to paying bribes to obtain contracts worth more than $4bn in Saudi Arabia and Iraq.
Petrofac’s former head of sales, David Lufkin, 51, pleaded guilty at Westminster Magistrates' Court to 11 charges of bribery between 2012 and 2015 concerning contracts worth $4.25bn, following an ongoing two-year investigation by the Serious Fraud Office (SFO).
