Trans-Gambia bridge expected to boost trade

A new $93.7m bridge is expected to reduce travel time and boost trade for The Gambia and Senegal.

The 942m bridge, complete with two border posts, will enable traffic to flow freely between the northern and southern parts of The Gambia and Senegal, and is expected to reduce travel time, boost trade and unite communities that were previously isolated.
