Establishing a leather sector value chain will create jobs and provide affordable and high quality products to East Africans, according to business chiefs.
At the East African Community (EAC) Regional Leather Forum it was announced the EAC and its partner states, including Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda, will be prioritising the development of the leather industry in the region.
