Energy firm BP has been ordered to test its unleaded petrol for three years following a four-month period of non-compliant fuel in its Australian supply chain.
BP Australia will adopt additional quality assurance processes expected to cost around $800,000 to ensure its fuel meets required quality standards, including low sulphur levels.
