Fifty prominent New Zealand companies have promised to take steps to incorporate biosecurity risk management into their business practices to protect New Zealand from pests and diseases.
The Biosecurity Business Pledge includes some of New Zealand’s biggest businesses, including Fonterra, Auckland Airport, Goodman Fielder, Countdown and Mainfreight. It was launched by the businesses and biosecurity minister Damien O‘Connor.
