Nestlé Middle East opens largest private solar plant

Nestlé has opened the UAE’s largest ground-mounted private solar plant at its Al Maha factory in Dubai and expects to save 6m kg of CO2 emissions per year as a result.

Nearly 28,000 photovoltaic (PV) panels have been installed at the company’s three manufacturing sites and will generate 10 gigawatt hrs (GWh) of electricity per year.
