A group of large retailers in Australia has been given permission to jointly tender and negotiate with suppliers to lower electricity bills.
In a draft determination, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) said 41 members of the Large Format Retail Association (LFRA), including IKEA, Costco and Bunnings Warehouse, would be authorised to jointly buy energy.
