Three fifths (60%) of Southeast Asian (SEA) countries have a clearly defined strategy for ICT procurement while four have no public strategy at all, according to a report from the ADB.
The report on 10 countries, covering a range of areas including finance and economics and budget procedures, said governments with specific policies for ICT could “achieve significant efficiencies”.
