Toolkit aims to promote gender equality in mining

A toolkit developed through work in Africa’s mining zones aims to increase gender equality in artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM) around the world.

The toolkit, developed by Canadian NGO Impact through work in Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda, shows organisations developing ASM policies how women might be affected by any changes.
