Toyota invests $394m in electric air taxi

Toyota and Joby Aviation are collaborating to produce an electric air taxi as part of efforts to develop “fast, quiet and affordable transportation services”. 

The Japanese carmaker and US transportation firm are working together to “leverage synergies” for efficient mass production of the all-electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
