Supply chain disruptions and other effects from the coronavirus crisis could slow Africa’s growth, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) has warned.
African oil exporting nations could lose up to $65bn in revenues as crude oil prices fall in response to production increases and a slump in demand, UNECA’s executive secretary Vera Swonge said.
