Huawei sells Honor brand to 'protect' suppliers

Chinese technology firm Huawei has sold its youth brand Honor to “protect” its suppliers amid ongoing supply constraints caused by US sanctions. 

State-owned Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology Co acquired the entirety of Honor's business assets this week in hopes of “saving” the brand’s supply chain.
