Firms will need Saudi HQ to win public contracts

International firms that want to win government contracts in Saudi Arabia must open a regional headquarters in the kingdom, officials have said. 

The kingdom wants to encourage foreign firms to open a permanent, in-country presence in order to secure contracts with agencies, institutions and funds owned by the government, said an “official source”, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
