Government agencies pay more invoices on time

Australian government agencies paid a considerably larger proportion of contracts on time last year compared to the year before.

The Australian Government Pay On-Time Survey found in 2019-20 agencies paid a record 90.6% of invoices for contracts worth $1m or under within 20 calendar days, compared to 61.7% in 2018-19.
