Protests against crop procurement reform turn violent

Protesting farmers in India’s capital New Delhi have used tractors to pull apart barricades and storm the city’s iconic Red Fort.

The farmers are protesting against prime minister Narendra Modi’s proposed agricultural reforms, which Modi believes are vital to overhauling the country’s vast farming sector.
