China boosts recycling to tackle rocketing prices

China’s resource recycling industry will be worth an estimated $772.43bn by 2025, according to a forecast.

Economic planning institute the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said China aimed to increase its overall resource recycling rate by about 13.5% and reduce energy and water consumption per unit of GDP by about 16% between 2021-25.
