Minister reveals procurement behind cocoa roads

Ghana plans to plough ahead with a controversial programme to build 286 cocoa roads at a cost of GH¢13.6bn ($2.3bn).

Owusu Afriyie Akoto, minister of food and agriculture, told Parliament the roads would span 4,465km, including 258 feeder roads and 28 highway/trunk roads.
