Hotels just weeks away from sustainability deadline

Dubai hotels have just weeks to make sure they comply with requirements designed to make the emirate one of the world’s most sustainable tourism destinations.

A directive from Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism) mandates that all hotels comply with the Sustainability Requirements for Hotel Establishments by 1 July. Under the directive, hotels must also resume monthly submission of carbon emissions.
