NZ road freight expected to consolidate

A large number of companies in New Zealand’s road freight transport sector are likely to disappear if the industry tries to make a meaningful reduction in carbon emissions, according to a report.

Research from Westpac NZ’s economic team said further consolidation in the sector was inevitable as it moves to decarbonise.
