Procurement teams cut in response to pandemic

Supply chain and procurement professionals in Asia faced longer working hours in 2020 due to headcount reductions provoked by the Covid-19 pandemic, according to a report.

Consultancy Ethos BeathChapman surveyed over 200 middle to senior level supply chain and procurement executives across Singapore and Southeast Asia and found 44.2% had witnessed headcount reduction in their organisation.
