Queensland has beaten targets covering public procurement spend with local SMEs, the state government has said.
Procurement minister Mick de Brenni said over the last six months the state had beaten targets set out in the Unite & Recover plan, which require government agencies to direct at least 25% of procurement spend to Queensland SMEs.
